In "My Profile" there is a list of your own Q and A.?

When you delete a question it remains in "My Profile" question list with a status of deleted. Deleted answers seem to actually get deleted.

Are deleted questions only visible in your own view? If you look at another person's questions in their profile do you see the deleted questions?

Does this mean that even when you delete a question it remains in the Yahoo database forever? Someone at Yahoo with the correct clearance could look at all of your deleted questions.

In "My Profile" there is a list of your own Q and A.?
If you deleted the question, it's only visible to you.
Reply:The first part is correct -- you can actually look at your profile with the "Public View . . . " link and see how it looks to us, to verify this.

As to the other -- only the Yamster (or the YA team) knows for sure -- and they aren't saying!
Reply:I read the first 2 ans. Is exactly how I think.

Best is to ask a friend to check your profile and see if that Q exists. Isn't it?

It will solve the problem.

Had you put the Q here, we would have checked it out.

You could add it here; so the next lot could see when they come to answer.

I hope I have solved the problem.
Reply:when you delete your question, you see it as deleted but others cannot see anything
Reply:Yes, the deleted question is only visible to you. It does not appear in the Yahoo database - it remains under your profile as a courtesy to you, so you can track what questions you've asked and/or changed your mind on.

Yahoo is not in the business of looking at anything, let alone someone's deleted questions.

Edit: and whomever is giving all the CORRECT answers thumbs down - grow up. The facts are here - deal with it.
