On the myspace music profiles how do put up a picture at the top of the profile? im not talking about header?

You just need a url to the image you wanna use. This is the code.

Just adjust the height # value. Remember that this will not show up in the preview mode. You will need to save the changes before you'll see it in your profile. You can also change the vertical-align:top; to vertical-align:bottom; if you want the navigation links below your picture.

No. An adult profile means that you can view some adult content or enter adult areas. That's it. Consider your pics being deleted as a warning.

There are parts of your 360 that are always seen by the public (even to those without 360 accounts...i.e. via search engines like Google): your personal profile pics, background and friends module. This is partially why any mature/adult content must be confined to your blog area under mature content controls. Mature content includes text and pictures (sexually suggestive, semi-nude, or nude).





NOTE: If you do not follow the mature content guidelines, you are violating the 360 community guidelines, which could make your page open toward abuse reports, violation notices, and possible shutdown of the entire account. Mature guidelines are in place to protect visitors (friends or not) that are under the age of 18.





The blog is the only area that has mature content controls. Set your entire blog to mature content or specific entries. It doesn't matter if your blog is only for friends or not OR how people get to your 360:


- You can access blog settings by clicking the "Settings" link at the top and clicking "Blog Settings" on the left OR while in "My Blog" clicking "Edit Blog Settings" in the top center of the 360 window. If you set it for the entire blog now, you still have to go back to previous entries and check any that contain mature/adult content.


- For individual entries, click the "Edit" link below an entry, click the "Show Options" link and check the mature content option, then re-save.





UPDATE: After you do the above (put revealing pics in your blog under mature content controls), then you shouldn't receive further violation notices.

Want old Profile Back!!!!!?

Ok 360 is now the only thing people can see when they go to my profile and the only thing I can see now as well. I have tried to change the display me as thing to the first one and set everything to private and it still links this stupid 360 page. I have had this 360 page for months and it has never been the default, this just started this week what the hell????? Does anyone have any other ideas on how to get my old profile back I mean I can't even see my photo albums any more.

Why won't my profile redirect to my 360 page anymore?

I have my Yahoo 360 settings selected to link my Yahoo profile (http://profiles.yahoo.com/gke71) to my Yahoo 360 (http://360.yahoo.com/gke71). It used to work but now when you go to the profile page, it doesn't redirect to the 360 anymore. Anyone know how to fix this?

You might want to check your 360º Settings--under Basic Info is a checkbox marked "Activate my Simple URL"--this setting controls, in your case:

Addendum: Thank you for the update on the situation. At this point, I'd have to admit being stumped. Yahoo! normally uses a 26-character alphanumeric code for each profile; I don't track these codes outside of those I need as backups for my own profile accesses. At this point, it's probably a job for Y! Customer Care and Support.

If I edit my profile will people still be able to email me w/old profile?

if you delet some of your IDs your ID will be delete frome your friends list and they want be able to send you message


but your defaul email will not change and any people can send you email if they have your email address

Yahoo IM...Profile/Contact Details Privacy?

I am not sure how this person got my IM/YAHOO ID. I just signed into IM and it popped up. I have requested details from this person. They have not responded. I want to know, how can this happen, and what can I do to prevent it from happening again. I know you can lock out people not on your list in IM, but I want to know how they got my info in the first place, and I thought you needed to "invite" someone to IM first. My 360' Profile is "Personal", as well as my Yahoo Profile. (to my knowledge)...so how do people get this info?
