360 profile?

I've just done my 360 profile but i have no idea how to get my contacts on there, don't the contacts i have on yahoo answers become my contacts on 360?

360 profile?
You will need to send them your Simple URL, found by going to Settings.. scroll down to Yahoo Identity Display. Or, go to their 360 Top Page and find the ADD link just below their profile picture. Click it and send them an invitation to become your friend. They will automatically become one of you Favorites..once they accept, you can put them in your Friends category. Send all your friends that you want to visit your 360 the Simple URL by e-mail, IM or post it on any other sites you might have..like MySpace. Also, Trixie, I visited your 360 and you need to change your Comments on your Top Page to Public or you restrict yourself to comments from only friends. Click on My Page at the top and then look just above the comments..change who can leave comments from Just Friends to Public and keep Quick Comments enabled. Save it. Hope this helps. %26lt;%26lt;%26gt;%26gt;
Reply:no they don't. you've got to add them
Reply:Nope. You can add them your Yahoo! Messenger or ask them for their e-mail address so that you can add them to your Yahoo! Mail address book. Use the "Invite" link at the top of your 360 space to chose those options after you add your Y/A contacts to those services.

You can also click on their 360 link (if they have one) and send an invite by clicking on their "Add" link below their personal profile picture. Make sure to check the "Invite As a Friend" box before sending the invitation. [This is the easiest method].

If everyone is connected to each other, then you will see a "blue person icon" next to their name under the "Contacts" box (left side, bottom) on your 360 "Home" page. They will also appear in your Friends module on the Top Page. If you see a green cross, either one of you hasn't accepted (or sent) an invitation. That can happen if you click the "Add" link under a person's profile picture on their 360 page and chose to send the invitation as a FAVORITE, rather than a FRIEND. If you see no icon, no invite has been accepted on either side. You can have up to 300 connections, but only 100 outstanding invitations at once.

There are communications settings to consider - click your "Edit Contact Settings" link under your personal profile picture on the "My Page." You should probably set the dropdowns to "Everyone on 360" or "Public" at first to make it easier. Then, click the "Save" button at the bottom.

If you find that your invitation isn't working, it could be for the following reasons:

1) If a person's Yahoo! 360 page is not activated, you will not be able invite them. It will say that they are not accepting invitations at this time. Everyone has 360 attached to their Yahoo account, but it stays dormant until it is activated (i.e. used for the first time).

2) If they have an activated 360 page, but their Communications Settings are set to "Friends of Friends" instead of "Everyone 360" in terms of invitations - and you are not a "Friends of Friends" - then your invitation will not be received.

3) They denied the invitation.
Reply:which 360.xbox?
