Cannot view profile info with Yahoo messenger...HELP?
Maybe while you had firefox you set it as your default browser. This meabns thats when u removed it, theres nothing to open the profile pages with. Try going on internet explorer, On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
Click the Programs tab.
Click the Reset Web Settings button.

I can't view an adult profile. I get ping ponged back and forth between ID entry and click ID to see profile
To view an adult profile I am asked to "click on enter ID to view the profile". When I enter my ID and password I am sent back to the page that says "click on enter ID to view the profile". I get ping ponged back and forth between the two indefinately. Do I have something set wrong on my browser or what?

I would change your password right now. Basically, the "ID entry page" you keep seeing is a phishing page. It's not real, and you've given them your info.
Reply:change ur password, what the site address? i can';t maybe help u with more things. e-mail me!

My old profile page shows up instead of my 360 page. Can I fix it or is it a Yahoo glitch?
My 360 page used to show up when someone would view my profile, but now, it reverts back to the old profile page, which I can not access to update (when I try to my 360 page shows up). What's happening here, is it a yahoo glitch or something that I am doing wrong?
My old profile page shows up instead of my 360 page. Can I fix it or is it a Yahoo glitch?
It may be a glitch as this has happened before
try this though just to make sure the setings are right
If you DON'T want to show your Yahoo! 360
page when people click on your profile.
* Go to your Yahoo! 360 page, and then go to "Settings".
* In your "Basic Info" page, in the "Yahoo! Identity Display" section, go to
your profile and select the first option if you do not want your profile
replaced by your 360 page.
The first option would say "Display me as: ?????"
* Then click on "Save
Reply:There have been a few problems with the Yahoo! servers lately. I'm not sure exactly what's going on in this case, but I'd recommend just trying again tomorrow. It will probably be working fine again by then.

How to customize "myspace" profile???...Please explain?
Please help me customize my profile.... I went to "Pimp my Profile, and tried but can't figure it out. What is the difference between "Layout" %26amp; "Background??" .....What I want is
1. The background of whatever I choose to show when people are looking at my profile..it says to "Copy %26amp; Paste" into "About Me" but, it doens't show.
2. What if I want the background to be one of my pictures I saved.
3. also, how to do the "content table"
I'm clueless about this, Please help on any of these questions and any other info I need to know how to customize it..
Thanks.
How to customize "myspace" profile???...Please explain?
the background is usually just a pic with not contact table or anything, the layout should come with a contact table simler to the layout you choose.
when you click on the the layout you want it should give you a code! copy and paste that code into the about me section in the edit profile part of your myspace and hit save and go to view profile and you should have a background pic and contact table.
you can change the contact table by gettin a code for that and doing the exact same thing you did to put your layout in.
if you want to get a backroung pic of your own there are sites that you can input the pic and they will generate the code to use for your own pic to put in the about me section.
good luck!!
Reply:I've asked same questions. Never got a good answer. Myspace is very difficult to figure out compared to Yahoo. Multiply.com is just as bad-you have to be a computer expert.

Firefox loosing bookmarks and profile info?
Just recently my firefox 2.0.0.4 has been regularly acting up, firstly it started by removing all my bookmarks (thank god for backups) and now it has started removing my profile information, and it seems to be happening every couple of days, apart from the fact its rather annoying, ive not come across any solution yet other than to set-up everything the way it was before and to copy my substantial bookmarks!
i have not created any special profiles or tinkered with the browser in anyway, i am just using the default profile, nothing fancy
just to make things even more interesting, my Laptop which has exactly the same version and customisations isnt affected
Firefox loosing bookmarks and profile info?
If you havent already...try completely uninstalling it and reinstall it and see if that helps, could just be a software hiccup.
